Bottle 1390 - Marionette Man in a Bottle

This is an articulated Marionette Man. It is made of carved wood, wired joints and paper clothing and hat. The body is made up of 4 separate pieces, the head is made of 5 separate pieces, each arm is made up of 3 separate pieces, and the legs and boots are made up of 4 pieces. The boots are each made of two separate pieces as to fit through the neck of the bottle. The figure is suspended by a string from the top of the head for support. The hat and clothing is made up of tissue paper with two small metallic beads for the hat's detail. The marionette is fully articulate and moves freely inside the bottle.
